Necklace with a vision

Personally, I am absolutely in love with my new necklace. I think it's absolutely fantastic. One of the best parts? What it says.. I had the first part of James 1:27 put on it.. The first tag says, "Pure religion is to care for orphans" and the second says the reference, "James 1:27" (which you can see more clearly in the last photo). To me, I think this necklace is inspiring and serves as an awesome reminder of a very true fact that I want to live by! More info on this will be coming soon... This is a necklace with a vision!

Pumpkins

The girls painted pumpkins for church this week with Mom's help. They are very proud of their pumpkins! They turned out very cute and the girls definitely loved getting to use all the colors and make them so pretty. Lots of fun :)

Chayah did a puppy on one side and a bunny on the other.
Sarah did a puppy on one side too and a cat on the other.
(Sarah found this eye cover thing and now has decided it is her favorite thing ever and has taken to wearing it around the house all the time..even though it hinders her vision, she thinks it's hilarious ;) Note: in the picture, she is kissing her pumpkin

Kings, Queens, Princesses, and Shepherds

The adorable first grade class dressed up as people from the Bible

Waiting in the older kid's classroom to go see the other grades of students..

So cute all lined up :)

Sarah and some of her friends

Chayah and some of her friends

Everyone all dressed up! There were Bible characters, Historical characters, and Career people (based on grade level).

How awesome do they all look?!

We all kinda stopped traffic for a little while too.. taking pictures of this was very important!

Walking back to the classrooms..

Beautiful Chayah all dressed up as Pharoah's daughter, the Princess of the Nile, complete with Baby Moses

A beautiful princess and a beautiful queen!

Family :)

Chayah and Mom
(note: Chayah lost another tooth. see the little gap on the side? sooo cute!!)

Gorgeous Queen Esther

Back in the first grade room.. all the kids got a chance to go up and give three clues to who they were dressing up as. After the clues, the other kids got a chance to guess who they were.
Chayah in her desk!

Sarah in her desk!

Chayah telling her clues...

Sarah telling her clues..
Sarah's reaction to her friend correctly guessing who she was! (They were both Queen Esther!)

Telling their clues to the Kindergarten class.. The kindergartners' turn to guess who each of them is!

Then it was time for Fall Parties, which meant fun snacks and games!
Toss the ball game.. Chayah's team

Toss the ball game.. Sarah's team

The two Queen Esthers :)
The straw game.. Chayah's team

The goal was to use the straws to suck the little pieces up and hold them with the straw, taking them over to the chair and dropping them on. Their team did it in just 29 seconds, so they were very excited to have set the class record!

Next it was on to a craft before school was out...
They made little candy corn guys and Sarah worked very hard on her's.
She did a great job!! Isn't her candy corn cute? :)
