China Town

After Chayah's appointment at Shriners, we went to Chinatown for lunch. It was so much fun to be there with the girls (the last time I was there was while we were paperchasing for Sarah!). We enjoyed an excellent lunch and then walked around for a little while. Chayah was calling it "Xiao Zhongguo" (little China). She was very excited by it, but was pretty shy when anyone tried to talk to her in Mandarin. I have noticed that with everyone, whether they are speaking Mandarin or English, that she is shy. She smiles but then hides her face in my shoulder. She is still my girl a lot, but she is learning more and more, little by little, that I am just her jie jie and that mommy is her mommy! More and more she is going to mom, which is so awesome. :)

Huang mama says "hello" to the girls!! I am so proud of Chayah but more proud of Sarah. She is such a good sister to Chayah. She doesn't seem to be very jealous of having a new sister who shares some of the attention that was usually all given to her! How sweet that they will grow up together and remain to be good friends and sisters for the rest of their lives. Praise God for His wonderful plan for bringing Sarah and Chayah together.

I love you all.

Great pictures, looks like you had a fun time. We are hoping to make it down there sometime soon.
What restaurant did you eat at?

That one picture with you and your mom holding onto the little ones - the one that has little Chayah's cheek up to yours with her eyes closed and such a sweet smile on her face...ahhhh...you can see just how happy she is!

Hugs,
Carla

Aw. That is so sweet how she is so close to you. Lilly has her moments where she is like that with me, but for the most part she is a mommy's girl all the way.
